At the beginning of her career, she helped patients with eating/receptive language disorders solve their problems, but over the past 5 years, Rubie has mainly worked with couples and families. She brings a family-centered perspective to treatment and helps her clients understand how their families influence their mental health. Rubie helped dozens of families and couples improve troubled relationships and treat psychological disorders within a family context. She is also focused on international datingโ€”Rubie Peters helps her clients solve problems in their long-distance relationships. In her spare time, Rubie writes a book about family psychology, grows flowers in the backyard, and plays board games with her familyโ€”husband and two kids. Her research and fact-checking skills are outstanding, and the articles she writes are always useful and very interesting.
