Tom studied at St. Bonaventure University in 2005 and majored in Journalism in 2009. He worked as a freelance journalist in 2008 and took on numerous assignments, and in 2009, he started working for New York Press (local Manhattan newspaper). In 2011, when the print edition of New York Press was discontinued, Tom started working for Associated Press. He researched many subjects and wrote articles about law, divorce and marriage, and international marriages. He first became interested in online dating in 2015 while investigating AshleyMadison data breach. Since that time, Tom became an online dating professional—he knows literally everything about it, he knows how it works, and he helps writers create interesting, useful, and fact-based guides and lists. In his spare time, Tom writes a book, visits new places in New York, and travels through the USA (road trip style). Tom is a gatekeeper between the writers and the audience—he makes already great articles even better.
